  • I have been with PMC property group for almost 3 years and have had a pleasant experience. The maintenance staff is always friendly and helpful. If there has ever been an issue, Tracy is always on top of her game and solves the problem. She always has good intentions for her tenants (and even keeps treats in her office for the pups). Most importantly, I have always felt safe in the building!! I'm grateful to have lived at walnut square these past few years and would recommend this building to any young professional or student looking for affordable and renovated apartments.

  • I've been living here for a few months now, and my boyfriend has lived here for over a year. We both have enjoyed living here quite a lot! The location is really nice, you're in the heart of everything in the city. That's the main reason he and I chose this building. It's so close to everything! That being said, it IS an old building. There was an issue with a window breaking in my boyfriend's old unit prior to his lease starting, and said window wasn't replaced for 2 months (that was really the only issue that the building management was not quick about fixing). He had a mouse in his apartment once. It's an old building, and it's in a city. It really is almost expected. Whenever we've had issues that we need help with, maintenance and the office staff were very responsive and helpful. Overall, I've loved living here so far!

  • I've lived here for about a year. It's definitely not a luxury apartment. I was initially told my apartment was too high up to be disturbed by the club across street; however, I have to use ear plugs and a noise machine to sleep comfortably. Next I'd like to talk about Tracy. This building is a recipe for disaster and has potential to easily turn into a nightmare. Thankfully Tracy is really the glue holding this place together. Anytime I have had an issue she has reposnded immediately and at times has taken the effort to personally check out the issue herself. She's extremely personable and takes the time to get to know her residents. She never seems jaded, which is a surprise because she has to have her hands more than full with this building. Other residents seem to have had the same experience with her as well. She is the prime reason I renewed my lease for another 6 months (I plan to move since 1.5 years here is plenty). Anyways, I would solely recommend living here based on her commitment to us. I've lived in nicer buildings but she definitely stands out for building management. 5 stars for Tracy and 3 stars for the building since the location is really convenient.

  • Tracy is nice, but that's about it. She doesn't get much done. My apartment had so many problems - leaky sinks and faucets, broken window glass, broken windows, broken heater etc - and Tracy either didn't bother getting them fixed or took a crazy long time to. For example, the glass on one of my windows was duct taped to the window frame. Another window had a baseball-sized hole in the outside glass and cracks that went from side to side. I complained the day I moved in, which was around late March. Both weren't replaced until the following year. Then I had to deal with the clean up. The workers left dirty hand and finger-prints on all of the walls. I paid for that out of my security deposit. The heat in my apartment did not work properly from November 2017 until the day I moved out in February. I complained multiple times. They said the fixed it but in reality never even looked at the heater. I know this because they never showed up to my apartment! I'm not sure if they fixed it after I moved out. Yes, the building has cockroaches , but most of Philadelphia does. You can try complaining to Tracy. I sent an email, but never got a response back. I've heard people complaining about rats/mice too. Luckily I didn't have that problem I would not recommend PMC to anyone. I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet.

  • Horrible management and that lobby and apartments aren't even close to what it looks like or did when ilived there. No floor to ceiling windows just old drafty ones with electric heat so your bill in winter is like 500 for studio. Great location though
